Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003/2007, Windows 2008 - "The bookmark is not valid", and I cannot find a GAL
I have an environment that has: - Exchange 2007 sp1 on a Windows server 2008 box, which is also the DC, and hosting the Global Catalog - We have a 2003 and a 2008 DC - Outlook 2003 and 2007 clients I connect local client machines with Outlook 2007 to the Exchange server, and trying to pull up the Global Address List I get "The bookmark is not valid" error, and cannot save any data to the Exchange email (contacts, calendar items, etc). Everything goes into a .PST. I cannot add remote users connected via VPN, as just attempting to add the exchange server and check the name upon Outlook setup gives us the same "The bookmark is not valid" error. Everything seems to be failing around me ears! I am really starting to hate Exchange 2007! Client implemented this, and I had to learn as I went... Please help...I have been reading and testing stuff in forums for DAYS! OWA works, but same, I cannot see the GAL, or save to it from there. The goal is to get Exchange setup as Outlook Anywhere, and then leave it alone, but I dare not go there until this is resolved! I'm in a bit of a crunch here... Thanks! ~Christopher
